Smackers do it Again!

Well the girls pulled off the championship game. Everyone played great and the San Rafael Smackers are now the Marin Girls Softball Champs! The game was an intense and close one with the Smackers pulling off the 4-2 win against the Mill Valley Phillies. The game was close with the Smackers relying on small ball, several singles and agressive baserunning leading to their runs, while the Philles went with the long ball and smacked a home run and a couple of key doubles!

In the end, Mikayla went 2-3 and drove in 2 of the runs, including our first run of the game.
